Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star in Dark Thriller ‘478’

Arnold Schwarzenegger (Maggie) has attached himself to the latest script by Spanish writer Javier Gullon, entitled 478, according to Deadline. Schwarzenegger will play a man seeking vengeance on an air traffic controller in protective custody after Schwarzenegger’s wife and child died in an accident due to the controller’s screw-up.

Gullon wrote the script for Denis Villeneuve’s Enemywhich starred Jake Gyllenhaal (Prisoners) as a man who discovers his doppelganger.

Early reports are that this will be more of a character piece than standard revenge tale. Schwarzenegger recently received acclaim for his performance as a father protecting his zombie virus-infected daughter in Maggie. While this marks a change in the types of roles Schwarzenegger is known for, he does have a couple of sequels in the works, including Triplets – a sequel to Twins – and The Legend of Conan.
