Armie Hammer appeared on the Your Mom’s House podcast to promote The Armie HammerTime Podcast and to discuss his future in Hollywood. In the episode titled “Just Lemme Eat Ya w/ Armie Hammer,” The Social Network actor discussed spending the past few years in the Cayman Islands selling timeshares after being canceled in Hollywood. Hammer expressed the desire to have uncomfortable conversations on his podcast but has struggled to find guests after being labeled “the cannibal guy.”

Hammer returned to Los Angeles after a long hiatus due to multiple public sexual abuse allegations. Commencing in January 2021, several women came forward with details of Hammer’s misconduct, BDSM fantasies, and cannibalistic fetishism. Ex-girlfriend Efrosina Angelova, who prominent attorney Gloria Allred represented, alleged Hammer sexually assaulted her throughout their lengthy relationship. Two other women came forth with claims of emotional abuse. One woman said Hammer expressed a desire to cook and eat her rib. No charges were filed.

The Call Me By Your Name and The Man from U.N.C.L.E. actor was dropped by his talent agency, WME, and his publicity team. He lost projects such as Shotgun Wedding with Jennifer Lopez, Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins, and Gaslit with Julia Roberts and Sean Penn. Discovery+ released the three-part docuseries House of Hammer in 2022. The docuseries explored the tarnished Hammer family name in depth.

While talking to the husband and wife podcasters, Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky on Your Mom’s House, Hammer described “conditional consent” where he expected his fetishes to be met in exchange for the undiscussed promise of an exciting life. Hammer said the tides are turning though as he currently has five projects on the go including Frontier Crucible a film starring Thomas Jane and William H. Macy. According to Hammer, he secured each project without an agent. He offered his lawyer Todd Rubenstein as his contact for employment.
