Armie Hammer was dropped by WME. The agency dropped the Call Me By Your Name star after various allegations against him appeared on social media over the past month. In the direct messages sent on Instagram, the actor had many conversations of sexually explicit nature, display of cannibal fetishes where he expressed his sexual desire to drink blood, cut toes and enslave partners. Along with these disturbing messages also included rape fantasies.
The first post appeared on an anonymous Instagram account House of Effie who say there is more shocking claims than the viewer can see. At least three of actor’s former partner came forward to say he used his sexual fantasies as blanket, accusing him of emotional abuse, manipulation and coercion.
Hammer then stated that he refused to respond to the “bullshit claims”. Despite him claiming to be innocent, the actor was dropped from two projects: Shotgun Wedding in which he would star with Jennifer Lopez but has now been replaced with Josh Duhamel and the Paramount series “The Officer”.
The actor stated that he chose to leave Shotgun Wedding to spend more time with his children and thanked Lionsgate for allowing him to step away. Hammer is currently in the midst of a divorce from television host Elizabeth Chambers, who is also a client is WME and is the mother of his two young children.
Chambers posted on Instagram stating how shocked, heartbroken and devastated she was by the allegations.
