A new trailer has been released by Amazon for the upcoming film Another Simple Favor. The film comes to audiences from Director, writer, and producer Paul Feig. 

Following the original, Another Simple Favor finds the duo of Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson wrapped up in an unexpected plot while trying to throw a destination wedding for Emily. As more unfolds, Stephanie begins to doubt who she really trusts and if she is truly safe. 

Both Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively return for the roles of Stephanie and Emily, respectively. Returning for the sequel, as well, is Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, and Bashir Salahuddin, among others. 

Paul Feig makes a return to the directing chair after producing, writing, and directing A Simple Favor back in 2018. Some of Feig’s other directorial credits include Last Christmas, Bridesmaids, and The Heat. Another Simple Favor will mark Feig’s first feature since 2024’s Jackpot!. 

Laura Fischer, a frequent producing partner with Feig, is helping out behind the camera as well, co-producing with Feig once again. 

Co-writing the script is Laeta Kalogridis, who also worked on Shutter Island and Alita: Battle Angel. Darcey Bell is credited as original writer, as her 2017 novel of the same name was the basis for A Simple Favor. 

Another Simple Favor makes its debut on May 1st. Check out the trailer on YouTube below.
