Andy Serkis Discusses Latest Version Of ‘The Jungle Book’ Story ‘Mowgli’

Warner Brothers is bringing new light to the Jungle Book story in the next film entitled Mowgli but with a darker edge.  CGI/ Motion capture expert Andy Serkis talks about the new film including his drive to this story which contained parallels to the same technology used in his most well known character, The Hobbit’s Gollum. This time, however, several actors donned the suit in order to make the animals as lifelike as possible, bringing to life the well-known characters of the beloved Kipling novel including Baloo, Shere Khan, and Bagheera.  Watch the behind the scenes with Serkis below.

Mowgli is set to come out in theaters October 19, 2018 and stars Christian Bale as Bagheera, Andy Serkis as Baloo, Cate Blanchett as Kaa, Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan and Peter Mullan as Akela.
