The former tribute in the first Hunger Games movie has joined an all-star cast for the new movies Go With Me, an adaptation of the novel by the same name, as reported by Deadline. The film will also star Anthony Hopkins (Thor), Ray Liotta (Kill the Messenger), and Julia Stiles (The Bourne Ultimatum) in a story about the struggles against a crime lord in the Pacific Northwest.
The prolific young actor will play the role of Nate, Anthony Hopkins’ character’s sidekick. The film is currently in production and the plot synopsis tells us that Anthony Hopkins, in the role of an ex-logger, will come to the aid of a young woman who finds herself stalked by a crime lord when she returns to her hometown.
Based off the book of the same name by Castle Freeman, Jr., the film is set in the thriller genre, which Ludwig will be no stranger to. He’s had a long list of jobs since The Hunger Games, including a role in the History Channel’s show Vikings. The film also marks a reunion for Hopkins and the film’s director, Daniel Albertson, who both came together to create Kidnapping Freddy Heineken, which currently in post-production.
Go with Me is currently filming and has yet to pin down a release date.
