Back in November Jared Leto posted a video on Twitter where he teased the transformation he would be undertaking for the film Morbius. Although there hasn’t been a ton of news about the film, Deadline discussed rumors of Adria Arjona to star against Jared Leto. Adria Arjona will play Martine Bancroft, Morbius’ fiance who also becomes a vampire. Adria Arjona has starred in Pacific Rim: Uprising, Emerald City, True Detective and the upcoming Triple Frontier.

The director of the film, Daniel Espinosa was also the mind behind films such as Safe House, Life, Easy Money and Child 44. The screenwriters Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama have worked together on every single project that they have been given. They have written Dracula Untold, The Last Witch Hunter, Gods Of Egypt, Power Rangers, Lost In Space and now Morbius. The movie is going to be apart of the new Sony Spider-Man Universe that will feature Spider-Women and possibly Venom.

Spider-Man has been receiving a ton of attention in mainstream media and although not all of his films have been received well, the latest movies released have been doing exceptionally well. Spider-Man Homecoming, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse with the ever expanding universe and films to come, it has never been a better time to be a Spider-Man fan.
