Actress Tiffany Haddish was arrested in Beverly Hills on Friday morning. She was booked with suspicions of DUI, confirmed by Lieutenant Chris Coulter of the Beverly Hills Police Department.
TMZ initially reported that Haddish fell asleep behind the wheel at 5:45 AM without any reported injuries.
Haddish appeared on Thursday at the annual Thanksgiving meal donation arranged by the Laugh Factory. The club has hosted a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for 43 years for those in need within the community. Haddish was on stage performing and helping to serve as well.
According to Variety, Haddish had a similar charge brought against her, being arrested on January 14th, 2022. The local police department in Peachtree City, Georgia, had received a report around 2:30 AM about a driver asleep at the wheel on Highway 74, and Haddish drove into the yard of a residence in the city.
After that, in 2022, Haddish was named in a lawsuit for alleged child abuse by Jane Doe, who appeared in a comedy skit filmed with her, her brother, and Haddish when Jane Doe and her brother were minors.
The case was eventually dismissed due to prejudice on the plaintiff’s request and can never be filed again.
Haddish was seen earlier this year in The Haunted Mansion and appeared last year in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
