Saban Films has thriller on their hands as the studio recently acquired North American rights to conspiracy film titled Wander which stars Aaron Eckhart, Katheryn Winnick, Heather Graham, and Academy Award-winner winning actor Tommy Lee Jones according to Deadline.
Wander centers upon a mentally deranged private eye named Arthur Bretnik, who’s services are needed after a mysterious death is reported in the in the nearby town of Wander. Bretnik eventually comes to a conclusion that the case he is involved in may be tied to that of his daughter’s death.
April Mullen, responsible for Below Her Mouth will be tasked with directing based on a script by Tim Doiron, who penned 88.
Bill Bromiley on behalf of Saban Films stated, “The whole cast brings heart and soul to this gripping thriller. It is a fun ride seeing Aaron Eckhart and Tommy Lee Jones in these respective roles; we’re honored to be working with April Mullen on this achievement.”
Director Mullen also stated, “I’m thrilled to be working with Saban on releasing Wander to the masses. The film honors all the silent warriors who persevere and fight for the light through the darkest of circumstances.”
Saban Films did not announce a release date for the film.
