The new official featurette released by A24’s YouTube channel shows a 49 second video from their upcoming film. Since it’s release, over the past 2 days the video has accumulated over 50 thousand views. The Death of a Unicorn trailer is intense yet vague and displays the star studded cast and of course a unicorn.

The cast includes Jenna Ortega, Paul Rudd, David Pasquesi, Anthony Carrigan, Richard E. Grant, Téa Leoni, Will Poulter and many others. IMDb’s description of the film is “Father-Daughter duo Elliot and Ridley (Rudd and Ortega) hit a unicorn with their car and bring it to the wilderness retreat of a mega-wealthy pharmaceutical CEO.” The film is also categorized into multiple genres like dark comedy, monster horror, comedy, fantasy, horror and thriller. 

The film has been met with mixed reviews. According to Rotten Tomatoes. some critics were feeling the film’s satire was too broad and blunt but most agree the film it is entertaining. Death of a Unicron currently holds a 64% on the site.

One review shown in the trailer says the film is like “Jurassic Park on acid.” The movie was written and directed by Alex Scharfman and will hit theaters on March 28.
