A New Look at ‘Hotel Transylvania: Transformania’ is Out and it’s a Wild Ride

The monster crew is back again for one more crazy ride in the full trailer to the final Hotel Transylvania movie from Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation, and let’s just say it does not disappoint, not one bit. Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is directed by Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon (first-time movie directors) and written by Amos Vernon & Nunzio Randazzo and Genndy Tartakovsky.

The franchise so far spawned 2015’s Hotel Transylvania 2 and 2018’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. The fourth and final Hotel Transylvania: Transformania follows the events after the third film.

Drac and his monster buddies are back again but with a twist. When Van Helsing’s (Jim Gaffigan) strange invention, the ‘Monsterification Ray,’ malfunctions, Drac (Brian Hull, replacing Adam Sandler) and his monster friends are all transformed into a human, all the while Johnny (Andy Samberg) gets transformed into a monster (crazy, right?). With Drac, stripped of his powers and an enthusiastic Johnny, who is just loving life as a monster, must partner up and race across the world to discover a cure before it’s too late. With the help from Mavis (Selena Gomez) and Drac’s monster friends turned human, they race to transform themselves back before it becomes permanent.

Lending their voices to the movie also stars Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), David Spade (Joe Dirt), Brad Abrell (Chicken Little), Fran Drescher (The Nanny), Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele), and Molly Shannon (Promising Young Woman).

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania hits theaters on Oct. 1.

I did attend Long Beach City College for a couple of years, I then transferred to CSULB in 2019. I want to write something outside the normal, something no one would think to write about in a unique way. It also shows how far I am willing to go to produce something amazing that will get more readers interested in the world of Journalism. I am on my way to making a professional life for myself.
