The 22nd edition of the annual Tribeca Festival is set to take place from June 7-18, 2023, in New York City. The festival has revealed the 2023 jury members who will select winners from 15 categories, including film, television, immersive entertainment, games, and audio storytelling. Additionally, the Nora Ephron Award will be presented to a filmmaker.
The 2023 jury committee includes a variety of directors, actors, producers, writers, and community leaders. Brendan Fraser (The Whale), Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Zoey Deutch (Not Okay), Dianna Agron (Glee), Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs), Noah Centineo (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), and Cholë Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass), Chance the Rapper, Jeremy O. Harris, Andrew Ahn (Fire Island), Mark Duplass (The Morning Show), Stephen Key (Yellowstone), and Clea DuVall (Veep) are among the jurors.
Tribeca Festival Executive Vice President Nancy Lefkowitz stated that this year, the festival wanted to emphasize diverse voices in the jury selection.
The diversity of perspectives and experiences across all verticals are representative of the myriad voices reflected in this year’s program.
The festival was founded in 2003 by Robert de Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff as an initiative to rebuild Lower Manhattan after the 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
Winners will be announced at the Tribeca Festival ceremony on June 15th.
