One of the final films to feature Ray Liotta has just set a release date. With that information being finalized, as well, comes a new poster and a trailer for the film, dubbed 1992.
Taking place in the titular year, the film follows two separate groups; one of a man who works at a factory, trying to set things right with his son, while the other is also a father-son duo, looking to steal from the factory to turn a profit. Directed by Ariel Vromen, the film stars Liotta, Tyrese Gibson, Scott Eastwood, and Dylan Arnold, among others. Vromen also wrote the screenplay, alongside Sascha Penn.
Liotta boasted an expansive résumé to his name, starring in a wide range of films over his career. Some of his most notable include Goodfellas, Marriage Story, and Blow. Liotta unfortunately passed away in 2022, at the age of 67. As Deadline reports, star Gibson, in regards to Liotta, said that he “blessed all of us in life while doing this film. For 1992 to be Ray’s last offering, we all feel so fortunate to have captured such a masterful and chilling performance.”
With the film being picked up by Lionsgate, it was also helped along by Snoop Dogg and his own production company, Death Row Pictures.
