The upcoming Judd Apatow and Pete Davidson comedy has acquired three new cast members as Moises Arias, Lou Wilson and Derek Gaines join the film’s loaded list of actors and actresses, according to Deadline. The three actors will feature alongside an ensemble cast consisting of Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Bel Powley, Maude Apatow, Pamela Adlon and Davidson. This untitled project will be written and directed by Apatow and is currerntly slated for a June 19, 2020 release date.
Apatow will be producing the film under his Apatow Productions banner alongside Barry Mendel and will be overseen by Universal Studios. The production of the film will be overseen by Erik Baiers of Universal.
Arias previously starred in the Disney Channel original series Hannah Montana as Rico for a span of 77 episodes and held roles in films such as Nacho Libre, Despicable Me 2, Ben-Hur, Pitch Perfect 3, and Five Feet Apart. Wilson starred in the Funny or Die spinoff series American Vandal for Netflix and in Amazon film Don’t Worry, He Hon’t Get Far On Foot. Gaines is renowned for his comedic work as Jaybird on TBS program The Last O.G. and his work on Will & Grace.
The roles of the actors and actresses on the Apatow project, as well as the majority of the plot, remain unspecified.
