Yesterday, the annual Cannes film festival saw the world premiere of the highly anticipated ninth film from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Following that premiere, which brought a slew of positive early reviews and red carpet photos of the cast, came the release of an official, full length trailer for the film.
This new trailer for Once brought us much more information regarding the film’s plot, as well as the place of many of its characters. We see more footage of Rick Dalton (Leonardo Dicaprio) trying to save his career with his longtime friend and stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) by his side. It shows us footage of Marvin Schwarzs (Al Pacino) becoming the agent for the struggling actor, as well as up and rising star Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie). We get our first look at Charles Manson (Damon Herriman) and the “Manson Family” who are at his beck and call. All other characters filled by this film’s star studded cast are shown briefly.
Also with the film’s premiere came the request from Tarantino himself that those who have seen the film do not spoil the twists the movie has to offer for those who have yet to see it.
