Black Dynamite is easily one of the funniest and most bizarre films of the decade. Released in 2010, it quickly became a must watch, even with the limited theater release. Once the film was brought to DVD, it gained an even larger fanbase. The film would live on in an Adult Swim show that lasted two seasons with twenty episodes. Now, in 2018, eight years since the previous film, Michael Jai White, the actor behind the titular character, posted two videos onto twitter, possibly confirming a sequel to the cult classic film. Check out the videos and let us see what you think:

As both of his twitter posts indicate, #blackisback is used, and considering that the main character’s name is Black Dynamite, the idea for a sequel is there. The first video also pushes the idea further by showing the classic handlebar moustache that our hero always had, lighting a bundle of dynamite with a cigar. If the tease was not convincing enough, we are not sure anything could be. We can expect some kind of release from Michael Jai White in 2018, as stated in both videos. We hope it is another installment of the hilarious blaxploitation spoof series, and we hope to hear more about whatever the project happens to be.
