On the heels of The LEGO Batman Movie‘s riotous first teaser trailer that premiered last week comes another. And why not. Warner Bros., distributing the animated spin-off as they did 2014’s The LEGO Movie, is in full Batman fever with the successful launch of this past weekend’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and wants to keep that momentum rolling.
The tongue-in-cheek second teaser again finds our vain hero, LEGO Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) introducing another amusing clip of the animated film directed by Chris McKay (Robot Chicken). The actions this time takes place in the moment of downtime in Wayne Manor as Batman and his trusty Alfred (voiced by Ralph Fiennes) reflect on the Caped Crusader’s tragic past. The fun spot includes a shout-out to past Batman films (including a brief joke at the expense of the campy Adam West television show).
The voice cast for The LEGO Batman Movie includes Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover), Michael Cera (This Is the End), Rosario Dawson (Top Five) and Mariah Carey (Precious). The film is due in theaters on February 10, 2017. Check out the latest teaser below.
