Netflix has released the first full trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. The film is a sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, once again starring Brad Pitt as the washed-up stunt man Cliff Booth. The film follows Cliff’s escapades following the first film, no longer working for Rick Dalton. In the trailer, he is asked why he no longer stunt doubles for Rick anymore, to which he replied, “Rick got too fat for me to double him anymore.”

This time, it’s 1977, and Hollywood looks a lot different than it did before. The film does not appear to be reusing any of the supporting cast from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with Leonardo DiCaprio being the most notable exclusion. Instead, the film features a list of new supporting actors, including Timothy Olyphant, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Peter Weller.

The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is directed by David Fincher from a script written by Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino initially planned to direct the sequel, but instead opted to sell it to Netflix. Fincher has worked with Netflix for some time now, with the crime thriller series Mindhunter and his most recent film, The Killer (2023), both being Netflix originals. This film is once again coming from Netflix, but it will received an exclusive IMAX theatrical window on Thanksgiving before hitting the streamer. Watch the full trailer below.
