In a Nylon interview, Suki Waterhouse (Daisy Jones & The Six) talks about nepotism. When asked if she would invite her daughter to find a career in the entertainment industry, she replied,
Why would I advise against it? I’d be nepo-babying the hell out of her.
She and her partner, Robert Pattinson (The Batman), have a two-year-old daughter, whose name they have not disclosed to the public yet. Albeit a response in favor of nepotism, Waterhouse ended the discussion: “Oh no. Why didn’t I just keep that inside?” Earlier in the interview, she talks more about her life as a mother in response to her new studio album Loveland. Waterhouse says, “Obviously my life’s changed a lot, and it’s been really great because it makes me say no just a couple of times more than I ever would have. It’s nice to be like, ‘I want to be home with her.’” Waterhouse further discusses her family life when saying,
Before, if someone asked, ‘Hey, there’s this thing in Paris and you have to leave tomorrow,’ I’d go—When you’re in the studio, you’re away and doing late nights. So, when you’re done, you have to be like: This time is protected, these days are protected.
