Postcards have been found at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), providing a first look at the core cast of the upcoming The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, a set of four Beatles biopics all set to release simultaneously in April of 2028, which will all be directed by Sam Mendes.
The postcards provide a first look at the four main cast members, including Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. The first post about the find consisted only of Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney. However, it didn’t take long for students at LIPA to find the other three postcards and post the photos on Instagram. Each postcard reveals the look of the 4 individual actors, particularly the transformations used to better resemble their respective Beatles members, complete with period-accurate ’60s haircuts and costuming.
In addition to these four leads, the rest of the cast that’s already been announced includes James Norton as Brian Epstein, Saoirse Ronan as Linda McCartney, Mia McKenna-Bruce as Maureen Starkey, and Anna Sawai as Yoko Ono. All four films in The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event will be released by Sony Pictures Entertainment on April 7, 2028.
Details on exactly how that will work are still to be announced.
