After a presentation at CinemaCon showing off their future projects, Warner Bros. Studio closed it with an early screening of The Flash. Released nearly two months ahead of schedule, the film has garnered lots of praise from many attending guests and film industry professionals.

From the new Aquaman trailer to the upcoming Blue Beetle, Warner Bros. showed off new confidence in their work on superhero movies, especially in regard to Ezra Miller’s performance. According to co-head of DC Studios Peter Safran, Miller showed off their skills as “an incredible comedian…[handling] all the action required for a big spectacle like this.” Directed by Andy Muschietti, Miller plays a dual role as different versions of Barry Allen as they work together alongside Ben Affleck’s Batman to save the world from a universe-shattering time paradox. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO, David Zaslav, called it “the best superhero film I’ve ever seen.”

The Flash is released in the wake of a series of controversies involving Miller spanning multiple arrests and allegations from burglary to grooming over the past year. According to a statement from the actor themself, Miller is seeking help to resolve their “complex mental health issues.” Safran explained in a statement to reporters that Miller is “completely committed to their recovery” and that the company and actor are willing to “have that discussion[and] figure out what’s the best path forward” as soon as Miller feels well enough.

Various audience members, from Phase Zero host Brandon Davis to Game Rant creator Rob Keyes, have taken to Twitter to sing the The Flash’s praises.
