Even though it is only two days away, it appears that Zack Snyder has given fans a little preview of what’s to come for his cut as well as FANDOME. In the 15 second teaser, we already have new footage to fully analyze.
We start off we a new shot of Superman after he has been resurrected. Another shot shows Victor Stone (pre-accident) at his football game, no doubt kicking some serious ass against Metropolis. Another shot is a familiar one as it is a flaming tank hurling towards a cop. The final shot is Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash, and Cyborg all landing in front of the Superman memorial.
Yes, the footage is short, but it gives fans just enough to be tied over until FANDOME hits this Saturday. But what more eagle-eyed fans will notice is that the composition of the Snyder Cut is vastly different from the theatrical cut.
The color grading is not as saturated and is definitely more dark with that Snyder flare. And the trailer’s aspect ratio is no longer 16:9 or even 1.66:1. It appears that the Snyder Cut will premiere in glorious 1.43:1. It’s unknown as to whether or not this will be the real aspect ratio of the film, as conflicting reports have said it is 1.66:1 while others say it is 1.33:1 and others say 1.43:1. It is unknown which will be seen on HBOMax at the time, but we will get confirmation in two days.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is set to premiere 2021.
