Anthony Baxter, a British Documentary filmmaker who started a crowdfunding campaign to fund his sequel to You’ve Been Trumped, will release the film, You’ve Been Trumped, Too, on October 28th in New York City.
This is Baxter’s second Trump documentary. You’ve Been Trumped came out in 2012 to critical acclaim. This new film will be a follow up to the first one. It will explore the troubling confrontation of a rambunctious 92 year old Scottish widow and her family against billionaire Donald Trump attempting to become the most influential man on Earth. Baxter, unlike journalists who wait around Trump wondering what he will say next, will delve into the consequences of Trump’s actions and how words hurt.
In 2005, Baxter founded Montrose Pictures. He was a journalist for BBC but now he is firmly established and is head of one of the UK’s leading documentary studios. Baxter is known for 2014s A Dangerous Game, revealing the truth around the ecological and social impact of luxury golf resorts around the globe. This documentary starred Alec Baldwin as well as Robert Kennedy Jr.
