XLrator Media has snagged the North American distribution rights to director Michael Polish’s upcoming thriller Amnesiac.
The film, from a script by Mike Le and Amy Kolquist, centers around a man suffering from memory loss after an accident, who isn’t sure that the people in his life are who they seem to be, eventually becoming a prisoner in his home. Wes Bentley (Interstellar) and Kate Bosworth (Still Alice) topline the film, which is being compared tonally to Stephen King’s Misery.
Bosworth and director Polish previously worked together on 2013’s Kerouac adaptation Big Sur.
Amnesiac is scheduled for a summer 2015 release through XLrator’s Macabre genre label.
