The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a reputation for being on heavy lockdown, especially during the production of Avengers: Infinity War, which had audiences shocked and on the edge of their seats. Many of the film’s actors have said they had no clue about the context of their scenes and didn’t know exactly what went on in the film until seeing the final product.
After that cliffhanger ending of Infinity War, fans have infinite questions and innumerable theories about what the next steps may be for the surviving heroes in Avengers: Endgame. A new piece of info has come up thanks to Sebastian Stan, who in a recent interview says that he has had little to no involvement in Endgame and has not shot any new footage since 2017. He does not know if he will be in the film and was not even given the title of the film until it was released to the public.
During production, there was overlap shooting scenes for Infinity War and Endgame, so it is not uncommon for the actors to not know what film their scene will be in, especially considering they are given so little information. There is still a chance that Bucky Barnes will appear in Endgame, so fans need not despair. This info does make us scratch our heads though, as we desperately try to piece together anything at all about Endgame to find out if our favorite heroes will return.
Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019, when our questions will finally be resolved.
