One of the most heartwarming film franchises of the 90s is soon to make a return to the screen with a new installment of the Sister Act franchise.
In an conversation with ET, Whoopi Goldberg teases new details about the 3rd film in the franchise which is set to show an more adult version of Deloris. “It feels right.” Said Whoopi, “Because we did Sister Act 1 and 2 back-to-back, which is why I think they are really great. But now you need some space on it and you need to let [my character] grow up and become an adult which is what’s happened. We’ll see. She was an adult when she started but she’s much more of an adult now.”
The film is produced by Tyler Perry, who has been able to keep most details surrounding production under wraps. There have been no announcements regarding the release date, storyline, cast list, or anything else.
