The trailer for Step Sisters, a film which was produced by Netflix and will be housed on the site, has just been released. Charles Stone III (Lila & Eva) directs the film, which was penned by Chuck Hayward (Dear White People). Megalyn Echikunwoke (House of Lies) stars as main lead Jamilah, a successful and high-achieving college student at the top of her step dance school organization. The pressure on her increases even more once she is required to take scandalously misbehaving girls from a different sorority in the step dance organization, which she’s also expected to lead to victory in a contest.
Echikunwoke will act alongside a large ensemble cast, featuring names like Gage Golightly (Cabin Fever), Alessandra Torresani (American Horror Story), Naturi Naughton (Fame), Lyndon Smith (Parenthood), Eden Sher (The Middle), Matt McGorry (How to Get Away with Murder), and Robert Curtis Brown (The Men Who Stare at Goats).
