Magnolia Pictures has released new trailer for the comedy Results, starring Cobie Smulders (The Avengers), Guy Pierce (The Rover), Kevin Corrigan (The Departed), and Giovanni Ribisi (Selma). The movie follows Trevor (Pearce) and Kat (Smulders), two personal trainers whose regimented lives are thrown for a loop when they take on a wealthy new client, Danny (Corrigan).
Magnolia Pictures acquired Results leading into its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. The movie is the latest from writer/director Andrew Bujalski, who drew lot of attention for his faux-documentary Computer Chess in 2013. While Bujalski is known for his “mumblecore” films, such as Funny Ha Ha (2002) and Mutual Appreciation (2005), Results looks like it will be his most mainstream project yet. Anthony Michael Hall (Foxcatcher), Brooklyn Decker (Battleship), and Constance Zimmer (Chaos Theory) round out the impressive cast.
The movie was released On Demand on March 13 and will have a limited theatrical release on May 29. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below.
