Amazon MGM has released a new trailer for their action-thriller G20, starring Viola Davis and Antony Starr. In the film, Davis plays the president of the United States and must stop a group of terrorists from taking control of the G20 summit of world leaders. Antony Starr plays the leader of the terrorists, going head-to-head with Viola Davis. President Taylor Sutton (Davis) must fight for her family, her country and herself, and she will do whatever necessary to keep her children safe.

The film is directed by Patricia Riggen (Lemonade Mouth) and written by Caitlin Parrish, Erica Weiss and Logan and Noah Miller. The film will be released onto Prime Video on April 10.

Viola Davis has been busy the past few months with multiple films and TV shows. In 2023 and 2024 she starred in Air, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Kung Fu Panda 4 and Creature Commandos. G20 will be her first project of 2025. Antony Star is staying with Amazon after the success of The Boys where he played the corrupt superhero Homelander for 4 seasons. Besides G20, he will be returning as Homelander for the final season of The Boys next year.
