

The winners for all 25 categories at the 2026 VES (Visual Effects Society) Awards have been recognized. The show aims to appreciate the craft in the world of visual effects across all entertainment mediums.
Avatar: Fire and Ash was nominated in ten categories and the night ended with the film bringing home seven wins for Disney. The film won in the categories of: Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature, Outstanding Character in a a Photoreal Feature, Outstanding Environment in a Photoreal Feature, Outstanding CG Cinematography, Outstanding Model in a Photoreal or Animated Project, Outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature, and the Emerging Technology Award.
KPop Demon Hunters led animation, picking up three wins and taking home the Outstanding Animation in an Animated Feature award. Other major films that received an award include Sinners, F1, and Zootopia 2. The show took place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and was hosted by Randy and Jason Sklar, also known as the Sklar brothers. Jerry Bruckheimer was presented with the VES Lifetime Achievement Award for his long career as a film producer. He has been recognized as a producer for over 60 films, including: Top Gun Maverick, National Treasure, Thief, Bad Boys, and The Pirates of the Caribbean films. VES Board Chair Kim Davidson recognized the importance of the show in a statement.
