Keivonn Montreal Woodard Set To Star In Todd William Schroeder’s ‘Gagged’

Todd William Schroeder just brought on Keivonn Montreal Woodard to appear in his new film. The upcoming project is dubbed Gagged.

Woodard has already established a name for himself in the realm of acting at 11 years old. His biggest role thus far has been in the HBO adaptation of The Last Of Us. Woodard was even nominated for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series at the 75th Emmys. He was nominated alongside fellow Last Of Us co-stars Murray Bartlett, Lamar Johnson, and Nick Offerman. Offerman wound up taking home the Emmy.

The character Woodard brings to life in Gagged, just like Woodard, is completely deaf. However, his young life gets turned upside down when he learns of a terrorist group planning to strike in the area.

Alongside Woodard, Gagged is also confirmed to feature Daniel Kash, Daniel Fathers, and Tony Nappo. Director Schroeder got his start performing stunts for various movies, going as far back as 1984’s Police Academy. Gagged isn’t his first directorial work either, as he has done several shorts before.

In regards to Woodard, Schroeder told Deadline, “We managed to get him the script and Keivonn, his Mother and his agent Elle thought it was a great script and perfect fit. He is going to have a very exciting career ahead of him.”
