BritBox International in conjunction with UKTV is gearing up to produce a new drama that follows the lives of six high society sisters as they live scandal after scandal and defy the social hierarchy of British society. Headlining as the star of the show is Netflix’s own Bridgerton lead Bessie Carter set to co-star with Shannon Watson, Zoe Brough, Orla Hill, and Isobel Jesper Jones. who is set to play the other Mitford sisters. Outrageous was based on the biography of Mary Lovell, The Sisters a rather iconic and fascinating read.
the successful and popular TV show Waterloo Road was confirmed for not just another season but two with plans to have more episodes made as far as 2026. The school comedy show has been running since 2006 and saw a revival of interest as a result of the worldwide pandemic with views skyrocketing on iPlayer. The new episodes will premier first on BBC iPlayer and BBC One this September after filming in Greater Manchester wrapped. Eight are currently confirmed for that September premiere.
