Trailer for Family Indie ‘We The Animals’

You can now watch the trailer for We The Animals, a coming-of-age story directed by Jeremiah Zagar and written by Zagar and Dan Kitrosser, adapted from the 2011 novel of the same name by Justin Torres.

The beautiful and dreamlike film follows the story of three young brothers experiencing the fallout of the tumultuous relationship between their mother and father. The narrative tracks the boys’ bond, the complexities of growing up Puerto Rican in rural New York, themes of abandonment and emotional trauma, and the oftentimes challenging and confusing interactions of the brothers’ parents.

We The Animals stars Evan Rosado, Isaiah Kristian, Josiah Gabriel, Raúl Castillo, and Sheila Vand.
