Dave Bautista is back in a brand new action movie. Produced by Lionsgate, Bautista will lead The Killers Game, which received a brand-new trailer and poster.
A description from Lionsgate states the film follows a hitman, played by Bautista, who receives a terminal diagnosis. When he tries to take out a hit on himself, he learns that those tasked with killing him are also tasked with killing his old flame, leading him to try and save her before his illness can take him.
Bautista leads the cast for the film, alongside Sofia Boutella playing the flame he has to save. The cast includes Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Pom Kelmentieff, and Ben Kingsley.
The Killers Game comes from director JJ Perry. Perry’s other directorial work includes 2022’s Day Shift, led by Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco.
Perry has mostly worked as a stunt performer on many films, including Avatar: The Way Of Water, Django Unchained, and John Wick, among many others.
Written by Rand Ravich (The Astronaut’s Wife) and James Coyne (Puncture Wounds, Vikingdom), the film is based on the novel of the same name by Jay R. Bonansinga.
