Venom 3 is coming and Tom Hardy’s recent Instagram picture seems to give more clues about what can be expected from the sequel. The movie was first teased at CinemaCon in April when Sony briefly showed the logo. Here’s what we can look forward to:
It is apparent from the cover page of the script that Hardy is again teaming up with writer Kelly Marcel. The two worked together on Venom: Let There Be Carnage which grossed more than $506 million, becoming the seventh highest-grossing film of 2021 at the worldwide box office. It is thus likely that this release will follow the success of its predecessors. Another noticeable detail of the image is the long red tongue coming out of the Symbiote’s gape. The swirling line, if observed closely, forms the letter “S” and the number “3,” suggesting that the third movie will include another Spider-Man crossover.
Whether this allusion is purposeful or not, is unclear yet, but we will continue to learn more about Venom 3 as further information becomes available.
