The Strangers are Back! ‘The Strangers: Prey at Night’ Trailer Debuts!

Bryan Bertino’s The Strangers introduced us to three masked assailants who attacked a couple in their home and while the film had it’s scary moments, it’s not been forgotten with the tagline, “Based on True Events”. A sequel was announced back in 2009 and after all this time The Strangers are making their appearance again.

Liv Tyler, who was in the first film isn’t returning for the sequel which includes an entirely new cast. Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) is in the director’s chair this time around and the cast will include Christina Hendricks (Fist Fight), Martin Henderson (TV’s Grey’s Anatomy), Bailee Madison (A Cowgirl’s Story), and we’ll see the return of Doll-Face, The Man in the Mask, and Pin-Up Girl; The Strangers. The original screenplay is credited to Bertino with Ben Ketai (The Forest) provided additional writing credits.

The plot involves a couple on vacation who are staying at a secluded mobile home park and are visited by the masked assailants. “Never underestimate the kindness of strangers”.

The Strangers: Prey at Night is due to be released on March 9, 2018. Check out the trailer below!

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
