There have been many speculations on which MCU stars will appear in the film, with some believing Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and her band of anti-heroes will be in it.
The cast of Thunderbolts was officially confirmed at the D23 Expo. Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Alexei/Red Gaudian (David Harbour), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), John Walker (Wyatt Rusell), and Valentina are all appart of the line-up. Details about the plot are being kept under wraps, however it is believed that the mystery of Valentina’s group will be revealed. The film is expected to tie up any loose ends from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.
“I was told I would get a new suit. And I don’t want to say the ‘F’ word, but I am really psyched about that. You watch Captain America and you see him in all of these different movies, and you see him the white star and the black star [on his costume.] I just want a full closet’s worth of suits, and I’m well on my way.”
Concept art has been released with the cast announcement for the film and while the art does not show exactly what the suit will look like, it’s confirmed the Red Guardian will get a wardrobe change.
