Back in 1978, John Carpenter released a low-budget horror film about an unfeeling stalker in a William Shatner mask who would murder multiple babysitters in a small Illinois town. Dubbed simply Halloween, that film went on to change the face of movies, and horror movies, going forward, and spawned a long-running series, following the quiet stalker, Michael Myers.
In 2018, director David Gordon Green released Halloween, a direct sequel to the original film, bringing back final girl Jamie Lee Curtis, and pitting her against Michael Myers one more time. The film went on to be the first in a trilogy, followed by 2021’s Halloween Kills, and concluded with 2022’s Halloween Ends. With the trilogy completed, retailer Best Buy will be releasing a new, limited-edition 4K steelbook set, this October.
Retailing for $77.99, the set is now up for preorder on Best Buy’s website. As ComicBook.com reports, there are less than 6,000 pieces made of the set, making it highly collectible. Each set has an individually numbered designation and contains a certificate of authenticity. All 3 films from the new trilogy are included on 4K UHD, and Blur9Ray as well. Each film has individual cases, and each will come with a code for a digital copy.
The set will release on October 10th of this year. Halloween, Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends are available to stream and own.
