For people who are confused, The Napa Boys isn’t a real sequel, rather a spoof comedy poking fun at Hollywood tropes. The film presents itself as the 4th installment in a series of films, but it is actually the first time audiences are meeting these characters. Miles Jr. (Armen Weitzman), Jack Jr. (Nick Corirossi), Kevin (Nelson Franklin), and Mitch (Mike Mitchell will make up our main cast, but it is assumed you already know that. The bunch will be joined by Puck (Sarah Ramos), who is a podcaster majorly invested in the Napa Boys. The trailer gives a glimpse at the Sommelier’s Amulet, the mysterious force that will send the Napa Boys on another quest in the Wine Wagon.
Collider’s article draws comparisons to films like American Pie, Wet Hot American Summer, and Sideways. Audiences will be thrown into a world that is ironically constructed to mirror Hollywood’s formula for a very specific type of comedy franchise. The cast is a large one outside of the Napa Boys, including: Chloe Cherry, Vanessa Chester, Paul Rust, Jamar Neighbors, David Wain, Ray Wise, Riki Lindhome, Natasha Leggero, Ivy Wolk, Steve Agee, and Beth Dover. Our two leads, Nick Corirossi and Armen Weitzman, penned the script with the former directing the film. Weitzman also produced the film alongside Mike Rosenstein and Erin Owens, with Jerrod Carmichael signed on as executive producer.
The Napa Boys will be hitting theaters on February 27, 2026.
