Mill Creek Entertainment’s next picture, a remake of The Most Dangerous Game, has released its first trailer. Based on Richard Connell’s 1924 short story and revamping RKO Picture’s original 1930s movie, The Most Dangerous Game teases thrilling stress and action in a gripping retelling of the tale.
The movie depicts shipwrecks finding solace on an island, after meeting the elite gentleman who owns the area, and it’s not long after that they come to discover this old hunter isn’t interested in using his hunting grounds for conventional purpose – but rather for hunting humans – and they’ve just become his next targets.
The film also stars The Challenge‘s Chris Tamburello, Tom Berenger of Platoon, Bruce Dern from Nebraska, The Breakfast Club‘s Judd Nelson, and Caspar Van Dien of Starship Troopers.
Justin Lee is in the director’s chair of The Most Dangerous Game. Lee’s best known works include those such as Badland and Big Legend, as well as more action movies that showcase Lee’s experience with films with tones similar to that of his most latest work.
The Most Dangerous Game will have a selective theatrical release as well as be available on demand on August 5.
