A short trailer for the upcoming film Thoroughbreds has just been released. The film features the late Anton Yelchin (Like Crazy), whose sudden passing in 2016 greatly saddened fans and friends alike of the talented actor. Several of his films have aired after his death, and Thoroughbreds will sadly serve as the last new piece from Yelchin. Before this movie, audiences saw him in Star Trek Beyond and Rememory.
Thoroughbreds also stars Olivia Cooke (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch), and Paul Sparks (House of Cards). It looks the Taylor-Joy is an actress to watch out for, especially for big Marvel fans! She will act in the upcoming X-Men movie, New Mutants) as Illyana Rasputin, also known as Magik. She’s the sister of Colossus, who appears in the R-rated hit movie, Deadpool.
Cory Finley serves as writer and director for Thoroughbreds, and he secured three film festival nominations for his work on the movie. His movie revolves around two girls, played by Cooke and Taylor-Joy, as they reunite to accomplish their goals. Unfortunately, it looks like their intentions might just prove dangerous, especially when they hand over a bunch of money to Yelchin’s character in the hopes that he will aid them in their violent acts.

The movie will arrive in theaters in March of 2018.
