T.K. Carter, an actor best known for roles in 1982’s The Thing and 1996’s Space Jam, has died at 69. His death was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, which was made aware of his death by Carter’s publicist, Tony Freeman. Carter was found dead in his home in Duarte, California, this last Friday, January 9th. No cause of death is currently known, but foul play is not suspected.

T.K Carter’s film and TV roles are extensive. Carter’s acting debut was in the NBC crime drama Police Woman. His most recent film role was in the 2020 sports drama The Way Back, starring Ben Affleck. Other roles across film and television include Good Times, The Waltons, The Jeffersons, 227, Good Morning, Miss Bliss, Family Matters, The Sinbad Show, Moesha, The Steve Harvey Show, The Nanny, Seems Like Old Times, Southern Comfort, Doctor Detroit, Ski Patrol, and My Favorite Martian.
T.K Carter is survived by his mother and children.
