Survivors Of ‘Alien: Romulus’ Confirmed To Show Up In Film’s Sequel

After its August release, Alien: Romulus became a financial success, with a new installment already confirmed for the iconic sci-fi series. Alongside the sequel announcement, reports indicate that two characters from Alien: Romulus will return.

Alien: Romulus follows a group of young scavengers seeking a way off their home planet to find a better life. While exploring an abandoned space station, they encounter terrifying threats hidden in the depths of space and must face a deadly organism to survive.

Cailee Spaeny stars as Rain Carradine, a young woman who chooses scavenging over working on a mining planet. She is joined by an android she views as a brother, Andy, portrayed by David Johnson.

It was recently revealed that both characters will be central to the Romulus sequel. However, according to ScreenRant, there has been no official confirmation that Alvarez will return as director.

Steve Asbell, the head of 20th Century Studios, confirmed the return of both characters. “But I fell in love with both of them, and I want to see what their story is,” Asbell told The Hollywood Reporter.
