Summer may be a few months away, but it’s never too early for some fun in the sun as the upcoming big-screen Baywatch surfed up for Super Bowl LI with a brand new extended spot. An adaptation of the long running syndicated television series, Baywatch comes to us – in all its sunshiny, ad-filled mirth – with Dwayne Johnson headlining as devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon.
The set-up for the film has Mitch butting heads with a cocksure new recruit (Zac Efron) as they form an alliance to crack down on a local criminal element that threatens the fun in the sun. Alexandra Daddario and Priyanka Chopra co-star in this new comedy from director Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses).
