Super Bowl Premieres New Ad for ‘A Quiet Place 2’

Paramount is kicking off the Super Bowl on a high note with a new ad for the sequel to one of their more recent big hits. A Quiet Place Part 2 gets a new 30-second commercial during the big game.

Much like the first trailer, the ad showcases what initially happened after the alien monsters arrived to Earth. This time it starts out with Lee Abbott (John Krasinski) coming up to a police officer asking what seems to be going on, only for one of the monsters to attack shortly after. Then the trailer cuts to the present with Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) exploring new areas with her children while also trying to escape the monsters. The ad ends with one of the monsters noticing Regan Abbot (Millie Simmonds) as she tries to escape from their threat.

Considering the ad showcases more of Lee, it’s clear that this sequel will give more insight on how the apocalypse happened. Along with being a continuation of previous events from A Quiet Place, the inclusion of new characters and set pieces being seems promising.

A Quiet Place Part 2 is set for release March 20th 2020. Watch the Full Trailer Below:

Ryan Pineda: When it comes to film, animation, video games and other mediums, I can discuss for hours about how much on why certain films and animated media made me the person I am today. I adore the artistic merit that comes from a lot of pop-culture media and will definitely love to have a conversation about favorite movies any day! I have graduated in 2017 with a BA in Film and Television at the University of Arizona. Been passionate about writing about films due to always having an interesting outlook on the medium. Will always see a film and will definitely be sure to recommend it to someone that I know for a fact would love that movie. Not only that but will also give reasons for why I think that film did or did not work as a movie, and the same can go for other pieces of media like television, video games and especially animated projects.
