It’s official, via a tweet this morning from the official Twitter account of the movie, Stars Wars: Episode VII will be called The Force Awakens. Little is known about the plot at this point, so it is tough to decipher exactly what this title could mean. It does seem fitting however, that the title suggests rebirth of sorts, when fans are hoping that J.J. Abrams and company will provide just that for the franchise as a whole. This news comes after production on the film just wrapped in recent days. Of course the date etched into the mind of every fan is December 18, 2015, when the movie will be released into theaters. We’ve covered everything from casting to costumes here at mxdwn, and will continue to bring you the latest Star Wars news as it breaks.
