According to Deadline, star couple Dave Franco and Alison Brie will be working with each other once again on a new horror film titled Together. The film comes from Michael Shanks, a first-time writer and director. Franco and Brie will serve as producers on the project along with 1.21, Picturestart, Princess Pictures, and Tango. The film is being financed by 30West, Picturestart, and Tango.
Although most details about the film are being withheld from the public for now, Together will focus on a unique plotline that showcases the horror of codependency.
The couple has also co-starred in and co-wrote Somebody I Used to Know together–a film which Franco directed. Along with the aforementioned film, Brie and Franco have also previously worked together on Franco’s film The Rental as well as starring together in The Disaster Artist directed by James Franco and The Little Hours directed by Jeff Baena.
Dave Franco’s most recent work was in A24’s Love Lies Bleeding, which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Brie’s latest work was in Baena’s Horse Girl (of which she also played a role in production and writing) and she will also be starring in the upcoming series Apples Never Fall on Peacock.
