‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Sequel Release Date Revealed

We finally have a release date for the massively successful Academy Award-winning animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Get ready to see Miles Morales back in action on April 8, 2022, as the Spider-Verse Twitter account announced today in a tweet. Check it out below.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, released last December, stunned audiences with its completely unique graphic art style and inter-dimensional multiverse themes and characters. The worldwide box office gross for the film was $375.5 million. It was directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and starred Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, and Mahershala Ali amongst other stars. Into the Spider-Verse currently has a Certified Fresh 97% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, becoming the first non-Disney/Pixar film to do so since Rango in 2011. The sequel certainly has a lot of hype to live up to.
