‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ International Trailer Opens with Different Scene From Official Trailer

The international trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home reveals a new scene that the official teaser trailer omits. The official trailer inexplicably has Peter Parker back on the job, donning his suit, while on a school field trip in Europe, even though he had decided to leave his suit at home. The international trailer, however, answers how the suit makes its way to Europe when Parker’s suitcase is checked through customs. Once his luggage is opened, his suit is shown with a note from his Aunt May saying, “You almost forgot this!!”

The international marketing for Far From Home has a different focus from the marketing that went into Spider-Man: Homecoming. Homecoming’s teaser trailer placed more emphasis on the film’s connections with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as through featuring scenes with Iron-Man. On the other hand, Far From Home centers more on Parker and his high school friends.

The international trailer had fewer views, with 1.5 million views, as opposed to 27.9 million views for the official trailer, despite them being released at the same time by Sony Pictures. Also, the newly posted latter trailer was trending at number 1 on YouTube.
