See the Official Trailer for the Wartime Romance ‘The Ottoman Lieutenant’

To kick off Valentine’s Day, the official trailer for the upcoming WWI romance The Ottoman Lieutenant has been released.

The film stars Hera Hilmar (2 Birds) as Lillie, an idealistic American nurse who travels to Turkey (The Ottoman Empire) during the First World War to help in the war efforts and healing of the sick. While there, she finds herself torn between a Turkish soldier (Michiel Huisman, Age of Adaline), the American doctor who recruited her (Josh Hartnett, TV’s Peaky Blinders), and the brewing war.

Joseph Ruben (Sleeping with the Enemy) directed the film based on a script by Jeff Stockwell (Bridge to Terabithia). Ben Kingsley (Ghandi) also stars.
